Relics of the PastAs if in a photographic diary, a log of memories from Athens, my hometown that is changing day by day, until it will become unbearably strange even to this loving native son, I keep a photographic record with my inexpensive camera of old collapsing buildings, vandalized old walls, demolished old houses, meant to give way to newer, but stopped due to the economic crisis, and show to the stranger passer-by signs of the life that was once housed within them.
And, other times, it is my frustration towards an indifferent government, state or local, that remains in total apathy against the corporate and private greed, that drives me to photograph and humbly share these records with you.
